Trigger Theory is a 4-piece, pop-punk influenced rock band from Tauranga, based in Hamilton. Their poppy, fun, energy filled rock songs contain powerful, contrasting vocals (singing-shouting-screaming), with hooky melodies and catchy lyrics. These great songs then come to life, with their powerfully entertaining, energetic live show.

First formed in 2005, Trigger Theory is a solid 4-piece rock band, which became set in Hamilton by 2006. This pop-punk influenced band are known for their well written, catchy rock songs, and their fun and energetic performance. They are sure to catch the attention of any rock loving audience.
Their pop-structured rock songs contain powerful vocals (from singing, to shouting, to screaming) with hooky melodies, lyrics, and a band of guitars and drums that are played hard with all the energy and emotion the four boys have.
The band continues to play countless shows around Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and intend to expand further across the country in 2007. Some fellow bands that TT regularly perform with are good friends False Start, Arms Reach, Callista, All Else Fails, 5 Star Fallout, Quarter 2, Fletcher, Kingston and more. Other bigger acts that TT have accompanied include Elemeno P, Steriogram, Cold By Winter, Behind Crimson Eyes(AUS), The Valley(AUS), My Life Story and Mumsdollar.
